John Drentlaw, LEED AP
Principal
John earned his BS in Construction Engineering and Graduate Studies in Finance. He went to school at Arizona State University as a snowbird from Minnesota. He brings over 30 years of A/E/C industry experience. John is known for his detailed and accurate cost estimates.
Curt Kolar, CPE
CSA - Cost Estimator
Curt holds a BS in Construction. His work started in his home state of California. With over 40 years of experience, he develops estimates for bids and budgets. Curt’s estimates are within 5% of market value 90% of the time.
Jacqueline Stewart
Senior Consultant - Inspector
Jacqueline earned her Bachelor of Applied Science degree and brings seven years of experience in project coordination. Jacqueline specializes in managing large and complicated construction projects.
Eli Mandel
MEP - Cost Estimator
Eli earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering. An Oregon native and OSU Beaver, he has experience in M/E/P systems and landscape architecture. His attention to detail accounts for accurate cost estimates for all projects.
Alexei Marin-Cortes
Civil & Structural Cost Estimator
Alexei earned his BS in Civil Engineering and MS in Structural Engineering. Originally from Colombia, he speaks Spanish and English fluently. He has provided estimates for parks, public works facilities, heavy civil projects and more.
Adetola T. Adeniyi
Cost Estimator
Adetola holds a Masters of Technology in Quantity Surveying from The Federal University of Technology in Akure, Nigeria. With over a decade of experience, she brings vast knowledge to her work at JLD.
Dhruv Soni
Cost Estimator
Dhruv earned his master’s degree in construction engineering and management from the University of Texas at Arlington. His background in construction estimation supports accurate estimates for MEPT, civil and architectural projects.
Matisse Stone
Admin & Executive Assistance
Matisse earned her BS in Anthropology and is an Oregon native. She handles bookkeeping, project administration, team support and company events. Her love for photography and plants brings a fresh feel to our office.
Chalanda Johnson
Accountant
Chalanda earned her BBA in Accounting from the University of Phoenix. With 15 years of expertise, she has progressive experience in financial data analysis, project cost tracking and billing processes. Her responsibilities include financial reporting, project administration, development of invoices, management of receivables and payables. She is an extremely passionate individual who loves to take on challenges.
Hannah Nickel
Cost Estimator
Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from Portland State University. Her background includes design build, custom fabrication manufacturing, material management and technical research.
